Making the Most of Your Music: The Choreography of Events

Sundays, 3-4 pm
440 Lafayette at Astor Place, NYC, Studio 4C

This class is temporarily suspended! Please join our email list to find out when it is back on the calendar.

Come directly to the 4th floor and go to studio 4C. There is no separate receptionist other than the instructor.

This class focuses on dance, incorporating burlesque movement and principles, and improving students' understanding of choreography as it applies to burlesque.

This entertaining and intensive class will teach you how to approach burlesque choreography with confidence, using tricks and approaches that work for all experience levels. You'll learn how to time your reveals and "big moments" for maximum impact, how to pace your act and move smoothly through transitions, and how to use your music to your advantage, whether it's Doris Day or Danzig.

You will also learn tips and tricks for creating your own "movement vocabulary"--a set of movements that look and feel great on YOU, no matter your dance experience or skill level.

THERE IS NO CLASS JUNE 6.

Please review our payment policies before enrolling.
